1871 Seated Liberty Dollar, MS63
Popular Type Issue
1871 $1 MS63 PCGS. CAC. The 1871 Seated Liberty dollar is
readily available in circulated grades, but the date becomes quite
scarce at the Select Mint State level. The present coin displays
light rose patina, with occasional hints of gold. The surfaces are
lustrous and lightly abraded for the grade. The design elements are
sharply detailed, except for a little softness on Liberty's head.
Housed in an old green label holder. Population: 37 in 63, 39 finer
