    1845 Silver Dollar, MS62

    1845 $1 MS62 NGC. OC-1, R.2. Osburn-Cushing Die State c/b. A well-struck and unworn example of this low mintage and conditionally rare Philadelphia issue. The obverse field displays splashes of silver-gray patina. The reverse is close to brilliant. Inspection beneath a lens does not reveal any consequential marks. Census: 5 in 62, 4 finer (3/17).
    Ex: FUN Signature (Heritage, 1/2015), lot 5312, which realized $9,400.
