1839 H10C No Drapery MS67 PCGS. CAC. V-2, Flynn-RPD-002. Stunning light-gray surfaces are surrounded by sage-green and mustard-yellow, with areas of deeper rose-steel. Strike is excellent, with only slight weakness on the head. This coin is one of the finest certified 1839 No Drapery half dimes, with only four MS67+ PCGS examples and one MS68 NGC piece edging out the present offering (6/25). It is also the important V-2 variety, which sports a boldly repunched date.(Registry values: N4719)
