1849/8 H10C FS-301 MS64 NGC. Ex: Richmond Collection. Cherrypickers' considers this variety an 1849/8 overdate, while the Guide Book calls it an 1849/6. Regardless of the underdigit, this is a moderately prooflike near-Gem with rich golden-brown, cherry-red, and jade-green patina.Ex: Richmond Collection (David Lawrence, 3/2005), lot 1026; Central States Signature (Heritage, 4/2011), lot 3247.
