Description
1849/8 H10C V-1, FS-301, MS64★ NGC. A popular Guide Book variety with the curve of an extra digit (an 8, inverted 6, or 9) east of the 9 in the date. The variety is often confused with FS-302, though the date locations relative to the shield point differ considerably. This boldly struck near-Gem has a Star designation due to its vibrant toning.
