Description

1850 Half Dime, Lightly Toned MS67
Excellent Type Coin

1850 H10C MS67 PCGS. CAC. Among the few finest certified of this fairly available date from a mintage of nearly 1 million pieces, although seldom seen so fine. The silvery surfaces offers satin luster accented with tinges of pale russet patina. A few trivial ticks appear, unsurprisingly, on Liberty's lower legs, but the surfaces elsewhere are nearly mark-free. One nick appears on the bottom of I in DIME. Light die clashing shows on the reverse. This Superb Gem CAC coin would be an excellent type-coin choice. Population: 11 in 67 (2 in 67+), 1 finer. CAC: 8 in 67, 0 finer (9/20).
