1851 Seated Half Dime, MS67+
The Single Finest Example at PCGS

1851 H10C MS67+ PCGS. CAC. Ex: Simpson-Bender. This is the sole finest 1851 half dime at PCGS, by the margin of the Plus designation. Essentially flawless mint luster glistens with soft frost. Much of each side is brilliant, save for crescents of deep amber toning along the upper obverse and lower reverse borders. NGC lists a single MS68 coin finer, which we last saw at auction a decade ago. Population: 7 in 67 (1 in 67+), 0 finer. CAC: 4 in 67, 0 finer (5/23).(Registry values: N2998)
