    1852 Half Dime, Unc Details
    Multicolor Bullseye Toning, Ex: Pittman

1852 H10C -- Improperly Cleaned -- NGC Details. Unc. V-2. Ex: Pittman. The date is high but not touching the base. There is a reverse die break above TE of STATES. Blue-green and rose ring a brilliant center, while a few hairlines on the reverse bear evidence of the stated impairment. After a 30-year hiatus, Gene Gardner resumed coin collecting in the mid-1990s, just in time for the Eliasberg and Pittman sales. This coin is traced back to Pittman's original purchase, and the winning bidder will be able to add their name to a noteworthy provenance.
Ex: 17th Catalog (New Netherlands, 5/1944), lot 789; John Jay Pittman Collection, Part One (David Akers, 10/1997), lot 491.
