Description

1852-O Half Dime, Toned MS66
Remarkably High-Grade and Rare

1852-O H10C MS66 NGC. The 1852-O half dime is a rarity in Uncirculated condition, and a trio of Premium Gems are the finest examples certified -- two MS66 at NGC and an MS66+ at PCGS (4/18). This Condition Census example is toned in antique-gold, rose, and aquamarine hues over satiny mint luster. Liberty's head and the stars are sharp, and a loupe reveals only the most trivial signs of contact in the fields. A true Registry Set coin of remarkably rarity and quality.
Ex: Los Angeles Signature (Heritage, 8/2009), lot 421, which realized $8,194.
