While the 1853 With Arrows half dime is plentiful overall and only
conditionally rare at the Superb Gem level, the 1853 No Arrows coin
(offered here) is scarce in Mint State and a fantastic rarity at
the Superb Gem level. The current coin is firmly within the
Condition Census and is the sole finest example of the issue with
CAC endorsement. A faint tinge of light champagne color warms
otherwise brilliant, satiny surfaces. No distracting abrasions are
seen. Eye appeal is outstanding. Population: 1 in 67, 1 finer. CAC:
