Description

1855-O Arrows Half Dime, MS65
Totally Brilliant, Low-Mintage Issue

1855-O H10C Arrows MS65 NGC. This is the lowest-mintage Arrows half dime issue struck between 1853 and 1855 (600,000 coins) and the scarcest in high grades. Each side of this New Orleans Gem is totally brilliant with satiny mint luster. A heavily worn obverse die explains the numerous cracks and granular appearance, while the reverse is better-defined. Magnification reveals just a few small ticks, but none of any singular importance. Census: 12 in 65, 7 finer (10/18).(Registry values: N2998)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2345, PCGS# 4361, Greysheet# 3819)
