Description

1855-O Arrows Half Dime, MS65
A Rarity in This Grade

1855-O H10C Arrows MS65 PCGS. The last of the Arrows issues from New Orleans, the 1855-O Seated half dime is scarce in any Mint State grade, despite a mintage of 600,000 coins. The current Gem example is a major rarity. Softly frosted luster complements olive-gold and light golden hues. A sharp strike completes the eye appeal, while a small nick to the left of the mintmark is the only notable abrasion. Population: 9 in 65, 4 finer (5/24).(Registry values: N2998)
