1857-O Half Dime, MS67
Only Two Coins Graded Finer
1857-O H10C MS67 NGC. This Superb Gem half dime exhibits a
brilliant obverse center surrounded by a multi-colored rim. The
sharp stars reveal shades of lilac, russet, and blue-green, and the
only notable ticks are hidden with the gown. The reverse is richly
colored in navy and wine, with highlights of red and gold above
HALF DIME. This coin is tied for finest known at NGC, while PCGS
has certified a single example in MS67+ and one coin in MS68.
