Beautifully Preserved Condition Rarity

1857-O H10C MS67 PCGS. A rare Superb Gem example of this New Orleans issue. The 1857-O is collectible in Mint State but challenging in any grade finer than MS64. This coin displays impressive sharpness and ivory-white luster, with no discernible abrasions. Some die polish lines and die clashing (as struck) are seen with a loupe, and the fields are semireflective. Population: 7 in 67 (2 in 67+), 1 finer (2/24).
