First-Year Legend Obverse 1860 Half Dime, MS67
1860 H10C MS67 NGC. First year of the redesigned obverse and reverse. On the obverse, the legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA replaces the 13 stars, and on the reverse a "wreath of cereals" replaces the simple laurel wreath and peripheral legend. The lustrous surface of this Superb Gem display electric-blue, purple, and gold-orange at the borders, along with sharply struck devices. Nicely preserved throughout.
