1862 H10C MS67 PCGS. Dazzling luster overwhelms the medium apricot and lilac patina. An intricately struck and nearly immaculate Superb Gem. The 1862 was the final Civil War half dime issue to exceed a mintage of 120,000 pieces. Once specie payments were suspended, fractional currency replaced silver coinage in circulation. Population: 17 in 67, 3 finer (2/10).
