Description

1862 Half Dime, MS68
Superior Quality, Tied for Finest

1862 H10C MS68 PCGS. The 1862 Seated half dime is one of the more often seen dates of the 1860s overall, but at the incredible MS68 grade level this issue becomes inherently rare. This piece is one of only four so-graded examples at PCGS (7/15). The strike is bold and the fields display modest semiprooflike mirroring. Soft rainbow peripheries provide a lovely frame for the brilliant centers.(Registry values: N1)
