Description

1866 Half Dime, MS67
Registry Quality Key Date Example

1866 H10C MS67 PCGS. CAC. A pristine, heavily frosted example of this low-mintage key date. The surfaces are overlaid in attractive golden-orange, violet, and turquoise-blue toning with a window of brilliance at the center of the reverse. Just 10,000 circulation strikes were produced (all struck from proof dies), and of perhaps 100 Mint State survivors, only a handful could possibly match the quality of this Superb Gem. Population: 3 in 67 (1 in 67+), 0 finer (3/15).
Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 6/2005), lot 5718.(Registry values: N1)
