Description

1867-S Half Dime, MS65 CAC
Ex: Pittman; Scarce in Mint State

1867-S H10C MS65 PCGS. CAC. Silver surfaces are splashed with hints of russet-brown toning and replete with significant Mint luster. Strike is needle sharp and lacks any regions of weakness. Ex: Pittman, as noted on the Generation 3.1 green label holder, and also CAC-approved. This issue is more difficult to find in Mint State than most, and that scarcity is amplified at the Gem level. Population: 6 in 65, 2 finer. CAC: 3 in 65, 2 finer (12/25).
Ex: The John J. Pittman Collection, Part I (David Akers, 10/1997), lot 526.(Registry values: N2998)
