    1846 Fine 15 NGC. V-1, the only variety of the year. A rare date with only 27,000 pieces struck, and scarce in any acceptable grade with Fine-VF coins rated R.5 by Al Blythe. This piece shows moderate wear on the design elements with a few small marks and ticks scattered about each side. Deep, charcoal-gray color. (NGC ID# 2338, PCGS# 4336)
