Description
1839 Drapery MS 63 NGC. A select, moderately toned example of this first year No Motto issue, one that is overshadowed by its No Drapery counterpart and is scarce at the Mint State level. The striking pressure on this specimen only comes up short on some of the highpoints of the design. A noticeable contact mark is mentioned in the right obverse field by Liberty's leg.
