Eliasberg's MS63 1841-O Seated Half
1841-O 50C MS63 PCGS. Ex: Eliasberg. Large O. WB-101. The rich dove-gray centers are framed with butter-gold and apple-green. Sharply struck, and smooth aside from an inconspicuous curved mark near star 13. The reverse has numerous slender die cracks. Population: 7 in 63, 6 finer (8/08).Ex: Nicholas Petry Collection; S.H. and H. Chapman, 5/1993; J.M. Clapp; John H. Clapp; Clapp estate, 1942, to Eliasberg; Louis E. Eliasberg, Sr. Collection (Bowers and Merena, 4/1997), lot 1920.
