Description
1842-O Reverse of 1841 XF 40 PCGS. Struck from dies left over from the previous year, this is a very scarce issue in any grade with Breen calling pieces XF and better "prohibitively rare." This is an original coin that has been left to tone naturally with light gray centers that deepen gradually to a golden-russet and blue-green at the rims.
