Description
NGC 1843 MS 64. A glittering semi-prooflike example, only lightly toned on and about the edges and with trivial abrasions in the fields. Nearly 4 million 1843 half dollars were minted and it is considered a common date among No Motto issues. At this grade level, however, it is actually quite scarce. Population: 1 in 64, 1 higher.
