Description

Charming Select 1844 Half Dollar

1844 50C MS63 PCGS. CAC. While the 1844 half dollar has a healthy mintage of over 1.7 million pieces, few Mint State examples have survived to the present day. This Select coin is a delightful exception, its emerald-accented silver-white surfaces bright and appealing. Scattered abrasions in the fields account for the grade. Population: 25 in 63, 14 finer (2/09).(Registry values: N1793)
