Description
1845-O 50C No Drapery AU50 PCGS. WB-103. O Over Horizontal O. The first of two die marriages for WB-103. The undermintmark is faint but present, being somewhat obscured by verdigris in the lower portion of the overmintmark. Mostly brilliant with sharp definition throughout. The No Drapery feature was created by excessive die polishing rather than a design modification.
From the Tommy Dorathy Collection of Seated Halves.
