1846 Large Date Half-Dollar, MS 64 PCGS

1846 MS 64 PCGS. Large Date (although not acknowledged as such on the insert). While a common issue in lower, circulated grades, in mint state the Large Date 1846 is a High R.6 coin. This is a sharply struck piece that has bright, satin-like luster that is very light in color in the centers with slightly deeper golden and cobalt-blue toning at the margins. Population: 3 in 64, only 1 finer (4/98).
