Description
1846 6 Over Horizontal 6 Half
1846 50C 6 Over Horizontal 6 AU50 ANACS. WB-104. A recognized Redbook variety, the 6 Over Horizontal 6 is very rare in high grades, as are all 1846 Halves. However, because of its distinctive "Lazy 6" underdigit this variety is worth considerably more than others of this year. The bright surfaces are mostly brilliant except for light accents of golden patina surrounding the devices. From the Tommy Dorathy Collection of Seated Halves. Ex: Duncan Lee.
