Description

1850 50C AU55 ANACS. WB-102. The 0 is lightly recut southeast. Glimmers of luster illuminate the margins of this pearl-gray and walnut-brown Seated half. Well struck and problem-free. Undoubtedly, a portion of the mintage soon met the smelter, because its bullion value exceeded face even back in 1850.
