Description
1850-O MS 60. A scarce No Motto half from New Orleans, toned in alternating shades of gold and gray-blue on the obverse, and in the same colors without banding on the reverse. Some of the stars are softly struck, as common from this mint and time, but well brought up elsewhere. A pleasing and original coin, exhibiting the surface marks expected of this grade; a scratch on the cheek and neck is noted.
