Description
PCGS 1852 MS 63. The 1852, with a mintage of 77,130 pieces, is one of the most widely recognized rarities in the No Motto half dollar series. (One might even consider it overrated at this level when compared to other, higher mintage dates.) This specimen is boldly struck under a layer of milky violet patina. More colorful blue and rose hues appear at an angle. Population: 15 in 63, 2 higher.
