Description
Challenging Uncirculated 1852-O Half Dollar
1852-O 50C MS62 NGC. A bold striking with prooflike tendencies under attractive layers of lilac-gray, turquoise, and burnt-orange toning that gather strength at the margins. The 1852-O is the scarcest O-mint Half, excluding some of the early rare varieties. Yet it remains an underrated issue in Mint State, being considered a High R.7 in all conditions of Uncirculated, according to Wiley and Bugert.Ex: Stack's (10/02), lot 529.
