Description
Very Scarce 1852-O Half Dollar in MS 63
1852-O MS 63 PCGS. Faintly prooflike beneath moderate layers of golden and steel-blue toning, with consistently bold definition on the devices. Trivial scuffiness in the fields is most noticeable on the reverse. The 1852-O half dollar is a lower mintage issue that also saw heavy melting, making it scarce today in all grades. Uncirculated examples are of the utmost rarity. Population: 2 in 63, 2 finer (4/99).Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24HM, PCGS# 6269, GSID# 6329)
