Description
Choice, Nearly Brilliant 1853 A&R Half Dollar
1853 Arrows and Rays MS 63 NGC. Good luster and a strong strike characterize this popular one-year type coin. Mostly brilliant, a bit of deeper russet toning is noted at the margins on each side. The obverse fields show evidence of die clashing. This is the first time we have noted this on this type.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 27TV, PCGS# 6275, GSID# 6271)
