Description
1853 Arrows and Rays Half Dollar, MS64
Scintillating Gold and Electric Blue Coin
1853 50C Arrows and Rays MS64 PCGS. Lustrous, attractively
toned golden-gray surfaces are highlighted with a shock of bright
electric-blue and purple-violet patina around the date and to a
lesser extent behind the head. One noticeable contact mark on
Liberty's chest and a few superficial blemishes in the obverse
fields prevent a Gem designation. An appealing and originally
preserved near-Gem.Ex. ANA Signature (Heritage, 8/2004), lot 6222.(Registry values: N4719)
