Arrows and Rays, Seldom Seen Finer
1853 50C Arrows and Rays, WB-101, MS64 PCGS. CAC. This
exceptional piece displays sheened surfaces that accompany rich
pewter-gray luster. The piece is boldly struck with only minute
abrasions, none so overly detracting to the example's austere
beauty. The piece enjoys a comfortable population at Choice
Uncirculated, but just 37 pieces have been seen finer by PCGS, and
just 27 CAC'd at the MS64 grade (3/26).Coin Index Numbers: (Variety PCGS# 572085, Base PCGS# 6275)
