Description
1856 50C MS 64 PCGS. Although plentiful in worn condition, this P-mint half is quite elusive in higher levels of Mint State preservation. Champagne-gray patina envelops both sides and yields to reddish-russet highlights about the obverse border. Nicely impressed for the series, several of the stars are noticeably incomplete. Free of all but the most trivial contact marks, this lovely near-Gem would do justice to any collection of Uncirculated Seated coinage. Population: 17 in 64, 4 finer (10/00).
