1856-O 50C MS65 PCGS. One of the important condition rarities in the Seated half dollar series. Despite a mintage well exceeding 2 million coins, Gem quality example are extremely rare, as the PCGS population figures illustrate. This piece has strong design definition, save for a few of the obverse stars. The surfaces are satiny and fully lustrous under amazing blue, gold, and iridescent toning.
