1856-O 50C MS66 NGC. The obverse of this highly lustrous Premium Gem is toned in dappled violet and cobalt-blue shades, while the reverse is coated in streakier amber and forest-green toning. The 1856-O enjoys a reputation as an available issue, thanks to a mintage of over 2.6 million pieces, yet at the MS66 level, such "availability" has its limits.
