1856-S 50C XF45 NGC. The second-year Seated Half from the San Francisco Mint, the 1856-S is a low mintage (211,000 pieces) issue that is scarce to rare in all grades. The present example is lightly worn overall with even tan-charcoal toning and no abrasions that are out of context with the assigned grade.
