Elusive WB-103 1857-O Seated Half, MS64
1857-O 50C MS64 PCGS. WB-103. The entire date on this variety is slightly recut north. This example is well struck, with greenish-gray and antique-gold toning and nicely preserved surfaces. The satin luster is appealing, if not spectacular. Wiley and Bugert characterize this variety as R.8 in Mint State.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24HT, PCGS# 6291, GSID# 6338)
