1857-O Seated Half, MS64
None Finer at PCGS
1857-O 50C MS64 PCGS. Deep golden-brown and iridescent
toning appears on both sides of this sharply struck near-Gem, with
a few arcs of bright silver on the obverse. The 1857-O is an
important condition rarity among Seated half dollars, with a
mintage of more than 800,000 coins, but rarely seen above MS63.
This Choice Mint State piece is tied for the finest PCGS has
