1858 50C MS65 PCGS. CAC. Type One Reverse. Despite a plentiful mintage of 4,225,700 pieces, the 1858 is very scarce in Mint State, and Gems are rare. The present satiny and intricately struck representative is deeply patinated in plum-mauve, aquamarine, cobalt-blue, and orange-gold shades. Population: 14 in 65, 5 finer (2/13).(Registry values: N2998)
