Challenging 1858-O Fifty Cent, MS65
1858-O 50C MS65 NGC. A medley of light golden-brown, gray, and sly-blue patination adorns the lustrous surfaces of this New Orleans Mint Gem. Excellent definition shows on the design features, except for softness in a couple of the star centers. There are no marks worthy of individual mention. A challenging coin in Gem quality, evidenced by only 10 pieces certified by NGC and PCGS, none finer than Premium Gem.
