Description

NGC 1858-O MS 64. While a common date in lower grades, the 1858-O is quite difficult to locate in strict mint condition and high grade MS coins are very elusive. There are many date varieties of this issue, this appears to be one of the less spectacular ones only showing a recut 1. Well struck with light silvery-gray patina and showing only a few scattered field marks. Population: 7 in MS 64, 1 finer.
