Description
Impressive 1860-O Seated Half, MS64
1860-O 50C MS64 PCGS. A lovely 1860-O with satin luster beneath splendid iridescent toning. This piece has excellent eye appeal, and will surely please the connoisseur. It is sharply struck, especially so for a New Orleans issue. Just prior to the Civil War, over 1 million half dollars were coined during the year, yet few survive in Mint State grades, especially at the higher levels.
