Exceptionally Smooth 1860-O Seated Half, MS 66 PCGS
1860-O 50C MS 66 PCGS. A peerless Gem of fine quality, the fields are satiny and very attractive. The striking details are fully brought up on the head of Liberty and the eagle. Each side exhibits the same gray-gold patina that thickens to a subtle blue color near the rims. A conditionally rare, Gem example. Population: 5 in 66, none finer at either service (2/01).From the Christopher Young Collection.
