Description
Conditionally Rare 1860-S Half Dollar, MS62 PCGS
1860-S 50C MS62 PCGS. Since most of the 472,000 Half Dollars produced by the San Francisco Mint this year entered circulation, it should come as no surprise that PCGS has seen just 12 coins in all Mint State grades (10/01). This lot offers a BU example with satiny surfaces and an even endowment of golden-gray patina. The number of sizeable abrasions is minimal for the assigned grade.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24J6, PCGS# 6301, GSID# 6345)
