1861 50C MS64 NGC. A bold striking with elliptical patterns of steel-blue and copper-gold toning framing the obverse and a thin crescent of similar coloration on the left side of the reverse. The 1861 is one of the more obtainable No Motto half dollars in Mint State, but enjoys added demand as a Civil War date. Census: 62 in 64, 30 finer (4/09).(Registry values: N1793)
