1861-O 50C --Shipwreck Effect--NGC. Ex: S.S. Republic. Wiley-04a, a State of Louisiana marriage. This shipwreck recovery piece has little if any circulation wear, but the slate-gray surfaces are granular from its 140-year stint at the bottom of the Atlantic ocean.
